Volunteer

There are many opportunities for volunteers within the Therapeutic Foster Care Program (TFC) and the Community Based Services Program.

The TFC Program is always in need of skilled Childcare Providers for our monthly foster parent trainings and support groups. As a Childcare Provider, you would provide supervision for the foster children and biological children of the foster families while the foster parents receive training and/or participate in monthly foster parent support groups. The TFC Program also has a Volunteer Advisory Council. This Council meets monthly and helps the agency in a variety of ways, including but not limited to planning and coordination of annual foster family events, public relations, fundraising, foster parent and volunteer recruitment and assistance in the evaluation of program progress.

The Community Based Program is also always in need of volunteers in a variety of capacities. Mentors at this program provide support to an identified client, meeting with that client on a regular basis and supporting their emotional, behavioral and educational progress. Skilled Support Volunteers provide crucial maintenance and repair services for the supervised visitation house, helping to repair things as they break or bettering the home itself to continue to provide a welcoming environment for the children.
